I was born in San Antonio, TX and raised in Mexico City, one of the biggest and most vibrant cities in the world. I moved to Portland, OR in 2002 looking for a smaller, better place to live and Portland, with its unique character and love for the outdoors proved to be the perfect place.
I have a business background, after 20 years in banking and finance I was ready for a change and Massage proved to be the new career I was looking for. Massage gives me a deep satisfaction when I can help others heal and overcome pain and discomfort. I enjoy the interaction with my clients, seeing the progress and how much better they feel as the treatment program advances.
I studied massage at the University of Western States, the former Western States Chiropractic College, because it's big focus in results oriented, science based massage techniques and the extensive preparation its students get in Anatomy, Physiology and the science needed to perform a meaningful therapeutic massage.
I have chosen to specialize in orthopedic massage using deep tissue, advanced stretching and positional release techniques because both my clients and I have a much deeper sense of achievement and well-being when they feel much better after the session, and not just while they are on the table.
I look forward to meeting you soon

I was born in Portland Oregon and grew up in West Linn. As an adult, I moved to Germany and earned a diploma in International Business and spent 12 years in the international trade business - specifically freight forwarding (imports and exports).
After many years of living in Germany, it was time to go back to Portland. Despite the move back to the States, and after several years in the freight forwarding industry, it became clear that a career change was needed. I was intrigued with massage therapy and realized that it is exactly what I wanted to do.
After researching schools in the Portland area, it was clear that the massage therapy program at the University of Western States (formerly Western States Chiropractic College) was perfect as the program focused on science-based, clinical massage therapy.
I am a certified medical massage therapist and my focus in massage is orthopedic and rehabilitative using several different modalities, including deep tissue, gua sha, and advanced stretching techniques. The focus is results-driven and not primarily for relaxation.
